If you have been in an automobile accident the first thing to do is call the police and get a police report. You should then call your insurance agent and get your claim started. Most insurance companies will tell you that you need to go to one of their direct repair facilities to have work done on your vehicle. The reality is you have the right to choose where the work will be done on your vehicle. Body by Mark will work with your insurance company to provide estimates, photos, quality and efficient work.

If you are having your vehicle towed from the accident please be sure to tell the towing company to have the vehicle towed to Body by Mark. (9979 Weber Street, Brighton) We know that being in an accident is a huge inconvenience and our goal is to get you back on the road as quickly as possible with your vehicle as good as pre accident condition.
We provide free estimates Monday — Friday 8am to 5pm. If that doesn’t work for you; please call the office and schedule an afterhours appointment. Body by Mark has agreements with local car rental companies providing discounted rates to our customers. Don’t have full coverage insurance, no problem…. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. Body by Mark will work with you and/or your insurance company to find the best solution for your collision repair needs.

Mark Shay, Owner and Operator, has over 35 years experience in the industry. Mark started out working for various dealerships in their body shops. Mark decided it was time to go out on his own and began Body by Mark, at its current location in Brighton in September of 2008. I started doing everything by myself, from body work to painting to cleaning cars for delivery. And in my spare time I ran the office cleaned the shop, ordered parts and did all of the estimating. This wasn’t a good time to start a new business, but through hard work, being fair and honest to all of my customers my business has grown to eight employees. I’m happy to be where I am in business but I know I can better serve the community. I take pleasure in supporting the local business around me and I am very pleased that they support me as well.

Body by Mark has been a Trade First member for five years. If you’re a member of Trade First you can pay your deductible in Trade. We accept TradeFirst for complete repairs as well.
